Well guys, I'm at a crossroads regarding Trailbaby. Avery is too big for me to carry in a backpack and would generally
prefer to walk (now that she's 2 and 4 months). I still plan on taking her on some easy hikes, but this will change
my focus of where to go. If you would like to join us for an easy (1 mile) hike on flat terrain w/ a lot of butterflies,
please join us on Tuesday, Sept. 16th at 10:30 a.m at the Songbird Habitat and Trail at Stone Mountain Park. Walkers
and moms w/ babies are all welcome --we just may go at different paces!
Directions:
Hwy 78 to the Stone Mountain park entrance (parking pass is $7.00 unless you have a year pass, which is $30). JUST
INSIDE the gate, make an immediate left onto the road there (think it's Stone Moutain drive) --if you're not sure, ask the
booth attendant where the Evergreen hotel is. Take this road about 2 miles --past the beach, campground and hotel.
The songbird habitat and trail entrance will be on your left. Drive down to the trailhead and park. If you have
any questions, please email me!
